Price is in EUR for the whole amount of the records with the inner paper sleeve. Basic colors are black and clear. Feel free to ask us for the price of bigger amounts or for shaped, etched or coloured records.

Place your order by contacting us via e-mail, where we will discuss all the details about the records and the sleeves. Payment is possible via PayPal or bank transfer. Please note, that we have to calculate PayPal fee 2.99% if you prefer this payment instead of the bank transfer.

FAQ

All cuts are stereo, using the 18kHz Nightingale feedback cutterhead instead of the classic12kHz VR T560 system.

What is a lathe cut record?
Our lathe cut records are made by using a diamond needle to cut the music into PVC discs in real time.
This ensures every record is checked for errors as it is cut as well as carrying out spot checks using a digital microscope.
The sound quality will be similar to that of pressed record, however our records are handmade onto hard PVC rather than machine pressed into soft lacquer so the sound floor might be a little louder. This is especially noticeable on quiet parts of the records. Lathe cut records are little bit quieter than pressed vinyl - you will need to turn them up louder. Lathe cuts can be a little awkward for auto-play turntables / suitcase style turntables to pick up the lead in groove so we advise obtaining a test cut if you are not sure.
Everything from our records to our sleeves and labels are made by hand so they may not all be exactly uniform, we like to think of it as each record having character.
If you have not had a lathe cut before or are unsure of what the finished product sounds and looks like, we recommend buying a test cut first to ensure you are happy with the outcome.

Do I need to do anything to my audio to prepare it?
We can work with CD’s, cassettes or digital files, WAV files prepared as Master A and Master B with a tracklist are preferred. Please listen back to your music before sending it to us and make sure there isn’t already distortion at high frequencies, any sibilance will be exacerbated when it is cut to record. Please also check for any phase issues, particularly at the lower frequencies. No stereo bass! We are doing some minimum mastering to the files for the best sounding result. Always keep in mind, that the digital master is not the best audio for a vinyl record.

Is there a minimum order?
There is no minimum order. There is technically no maximum order however please keep in mind these are all cut in real time, so orders of 80+ copies, particularly 12" records, may take us a little longer to fulfill. The usual production time is from 10 to 14 weeks.

Will you make me a mixtape record as a gift?
This is very simple. If you don't own the license to the music, we can't cut it on to record for you. It falls under copyright infringement. We understand that is is only for your private use, but no mechanical rights – no cuts. If you're able to provide the proof of licensing we're able to make the mixtape record for you.

Can you print both sleeves and center labels?
We are able to print almost all kind of sleeves, fold-overs and jackets are the most wanted ones. No gatefolds, even the pressing plants are offering these only with orders 300+ records. Feel free to contact us for the prices. We have to contact the printing plant for the price offer.

Can you cut an x-ray?
We can, we won't. X-rays are made out of really thin, but hard material and they are wavy. So the only thing that will happen to our machine is that it will flip the cutterhead in the air and the diamond stylus will break its tip while landing back on the surface of the x-ray.
